X-Ray Inspection Systems
Antares Vision Group's X-ray inspection systems meet all necessary requirements to operate in industrial environments without the need for radiological monitoring, fully complying with international standards set by leading quality certification bodies. By preventing market complaints and recalls, they offer the highest level of brand protection, ensuring consistent quality and trust in your products.
Our systems, equipped with advanced interconnection capabilities and software for data and image collection of defective products, are designed to integrate seamlessly with external systems and adhere to Industry 4.0 standards. These systems ensure the absence of high-density physical contaminants, providing a robust safeguard for product and consumer safety.
We can build our machines fully to retail specification. Additionally, to provide exceptional customer support, our systems can be configured for remote assistance management—an emergency service that bridges distances and minimises maintenance costs.
X-Ray for Horizontal Products
The operator interface features a 15” colour touchscreen panel, controlled by custom electronics developed in-house. It operates with dedicated self-learning software, making it intuitive and accessible even for non-expert inline operators.
Combining high-precision mechanical technology with bespoke electronics, these systems meet the growing demands of industrial production. They ensure reliable quality control, delivering consistent high performance over time. A diverse range of models is available, enabling inspection from above for unpackaged products as well as items in flow-packs, cases, trays, and more.
Models:
- EL 300 (conveyors width: 290 mm)
- EL 400 (conveyors width: 390 mm)
- EL 500 (conveyors width: 490 mm)
Benefits:
- Ensures the absence of high-density physical contaminants
- Prevents market complaints and recalls, ensuring the best guarantee for brand protection
- Hygienic design and washable structure speed up maintenance and sanitising
- The intuitive and user-friendly interface simplifies the use by the operators
- In-house software allows customised setup
X-Ray for Vertical Products
We offer a versatile range of X-ray inspection systems with lateral rays, ideal for tall products such as briks, plastic bottles, upright cases, and square-based vertical pouches. These systems are specifically designed to handle the unique challenges of inspecting products with significant height.
Featuring a 15” colour touch-screen operator interface powered by our custom-designed electronics, these systems utilise dedicated self-learning software. This intuitive design ensures ease of use, even for operators with minimal experience. The combination of high-precision mechanical technology and our bespoke electronics ensures these systems meet the growing demands of industrial production, delivering consistent quality control, exceptional performance, and long-term reliability.
Models:
- EL 300 /V (conveyors width: 290 mm)
- EL 400 /V (conveyors width: 390 mm)
Benefits:
- Ensures adequate handling of unstable products, preventing their fall and consequent line stops
- The infeed and outfeed tangential belts facilitate the introduction of the system into the line, picking up the products laterally on the upstream belt and delivering them with the same mechanism on the downstream one
- Ensures the absence of high-density physical contaminants
- Prevents market complaints and recalls, providing the best guarantee for brand protection
- The intuitive and user-friendly interface simplifies the use by the operators
X-Ray Inspection System for Bulk Products in Gravitational Fall
The XR Bulk Free Fall is the first system on the market to combine optimised product handling through a vertical pipe with the precision of X-ray inspection technology. This innovative design ensures effective product distribution and uniform thickness during the inspection phase. Compact and space-efficient, the equipment is tailored for vertical product flow, aligning seamlessly with the rest of the processing plant.
Special attention has been given to enable near-instantaneous format changes via the system's HMI. By selecting the desired option from the product change menu, the system automatically adjusts to accommodate different product capacities, sections, shapes, and densities, ensuring smooth and efficient transitions.
Benefits:
- Ensures the absence of high-density physical contaminants
- Hygienic design and washable structure speed up maintenance and sanitising
- The free-fall configuration avoids the need to switch from a vertical to a horizontal workflow, eliminating the problems associated with handling bulk product via a conveyor belt
- Rejection of the specific portion of the flow including the contaminant reduces product waste
- X-ray beam only has to pass through the product, thus obtaining high sensitivity even when working at high speed
X-Ray Inspection Special Configuration
We also offer customised X-ray inspection systems tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. These advanced solutions are designed to adapt to unique product requirements, operational conditions, and production environments. Special configurations are available to address complex demands, such as multi-lane inspection systems, enhanced sensitivity for diverse product types, and differentiated rejection systems for precise quality control.
- Triple Lane X-Ray Inspection: An advanced solution, which allows X-ray inspection of products in transit on three lanes, without the need to install three systems.
- Dual Lane X-Ray Inspection: An advanced solution, which allows X-ray inspection of products in transit on two lanes, without the need to install two systems.
- X-Ray Inspection with Side Belts: Inspection system with top-down X-ray scanning in a specific configuration for unstable products.
- X-Ray Inspection System on Belt for Bulk Products: X-ray inspection systems for bulk products: a configuration featuring conveyor belt, containment guides, an adjustable system to level and equalize the products, flap reject unit with connecting chutes and specific bins.
